We've entered what's being called the "attention economy" where the ability to focus and concentrate has become as important as management or technical skills. Leaders and managers have especially been challenged by increased demands to deal with growing amounts of data and information, while still being expected to function in a proactive vs. reactive way in order to make effective decisions and sound judgments. The key to increasing the needed focus and concentration is learning mindfulness practices that can easily be integrated into the work day. In this interactive sessions, participants will:
* Review the meaning and benefits of mindful working
* Discuss and experience how mindfulness practice redirects brain activity, reduces stress, and improves executive functioning
* Learn practical tips for incorporating mindfulness into their work day
